Founded in 1960, Christ Church Nursery School is a non-profit, non-sectarian NAEYC accredited preschool licensed by the State of Connecticut. Children attending our program come from diverse backgrounds, religions and socioeconomic groups.

Our school is governed by the Christ Church Nursery School Board of Directors, which includes members of Christ Church clergy and staff, the nursery school director, parishioners, and teacher and parent representatives.

Our teachers are committed to carefully observing the dynamics and interaction of their classes in order to develop activities and projects they feel are appropriate for the abilities of their children. New ideas and projects are routinely infused into the program to keep the curriculum fresh and stimulating.

We believe each child enrolled in our school is a unique person. We want your child to feel comfortable and confident, to explore, to express him or herself freely and easily, to develop a love of learning.

We welcome and encourage involvement and participation by our parents. Christ Church Nursery School has several annual events and numerous on-going activities in which parents can participate.
